We enjoyed a two week holiday during the summer months. Even then I remember the daytime dress code was a suit and tie with polished leather shoes.
My racing career started at Wombwell race circuit in Barnsley, West Yorkshire. Who would have thought that many years later I would be representing England in a world championship final at Le Mans, France.
One event forever etched on my mind took place on the 4th June 1967. We were driving through Stockport on our way to Wombwell. We suddenly noticed a plane flying very low on its approach to Ringway airport. Only moments later this plane crashed in the centre of Stockport. Sadly, seventy two souls were lost.

This photo was taken when I was 15 in the photo booth in Piccadilly Gardens. As I approached my thirteenth birthday, I had my first full on relationship with a young lady. As a young and red-blooded male I went on to enjoy many relationships throughout my life.
Shortly after my 21st birthday, I met a young lady called Jessica. I had decided to treat myself to an MGB sports car. Jessica just happened to be the partner of the guy selling the car. There was an instant chemistry between us.
We soon became lovers and enjoyed a wonderful three year relationship. She was a smart, quick, intelligent girl. And she was Hot!

After visiting many race tracks on his epic 42 state tour, he finally got to experience a Nascar drive at Las Vegas Raceway.
Amongst Peter’s many achievements, he was a regular attendee at the Trauma and Medical Training at the Police and Fire Brigade seminars. He was out nearly every weekend looking after many bikers who had taken a fall.

Even though Covid clipped foreign travel for most – Peter enjoyed many UK breaks in his Super Motorhome.

Peter with the 3-wheeled Morgan used in the T.V. show TopGear. Here it is being used to create the biggest poppy in the world as it led over 4000 motorbikes around Manchester on Poppy Day.
