Over the years Peter has been involved in many charities, he has been recognized in many ways for the good deeds he does all without favour, this all started whilst he was at Moor Allerton primary school, he was chosen with a few more kids from his class to collect monies for the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) Peter excelled at this charitable task and was rewarded when Prince Phillip (Duke of Edinburgh) visited his school, Peter was awarded the honour of shaking the Dukes hand as recognition for the good work he had done for his charity.
Over the many years so many charities have benefited from his selfless good work, again his work was recognized when he was to be invited to be a Rotarian, a badge he wears proudly and often promotes the good deeds of the Rotarian’s on his many foreign trips around the world with his excellent after dinner speeches.
Peter as many of you will know has always had some fine horseless carriages amongst them have been Ferraris Porsche Jaguar Bentley Mustang with a large portion of some of the most powerful sports cars in the country.
Peter had a spell of flying to gain his private pilots licence only to favour his skippers licence for the many fine watercraft he has owned and enjoyed.
His achievements through his many years of charity work had been noted by a local fundraiser who offered Peter a directorship, and although he was happy being retired he could not resist the challenge, six months since his inception Peter has opened a retail charity shop, a worldwide streaming radio station, a house clearance company, and a sponsor of a local football team, he also now is affiliated with the American charity “Hope for Heroes” his charity is going from strength to strength with another shop about to open in Salford, Peter still refuses to take a penny for all the work he does, his pleasure is supporting the NHS. the blue light services and returning military personnel with PTSD.
