Peter was born on the 28th of November 1953 at Stretford Memorial hospital in Manchester. He was the proud son of his loving parents, Bob and Joan.

Peters schooling began at The Old Moat School in Withington, Manchester. Then, at the age of nine the family moved to Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton, Manchester.
